A picture is able to show others ones point of view. The photo itself does the work for you. One does not need to describe what one saw. Readers could join the journey through the photos. The writer doesn’t have to work as hard describing the environment, people, and emotion for the reader. When the description is replaced with a picture as viewed above. Photography is an art.
There are stories from the past that are mention about art that I could think of in
Exodus 31: 1-11 ESV “The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft. And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent, the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin and its stand, and the finely worked garments, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the Holy Place. According to all that I have commanded you, they shall do.””
Not only art yet a responsibility these artists had. So should be artistic, creative, well executed, and well crafted. What I’m trying to say nothing comes easy it’s hard work. There’s a greek phrase Kalepa ta kala which means that beauty is harsh translation things are not beautiful without difficulty.
Photography is a art that expressing feelings, thoughts, and observations. It impacts our world, and even into the deepest part of our existence. So in the end I thank God for being our ultimate source and putting in the hearts of man to create beautiful things.
Significant ministry flows out of significant relationships. The discussion in the class was on the grace of God. Hope this is helpful as it was for me.
The life transforming gift of God that will keep you and sustain you.
• Justice– Getting what one deserves.
• Mercy– Not getting what one deserve.
• Grace– Is getting what one doesn’t deserve.
What are you Grace to do?
-Pastor Bruce Monk
The teaching on grace was
Who are you?
What do you do?
Who do you do it for?
Thanking and Praying for John Sparrow for taking the time to share on God’s gift of Grace.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.”
1 Corinthians 15:10 ESV
